Adoption Process
You have found the guinea pig you would love to add to your family, what do you do now!
Reach out to me! By email or by texting me! Before adopting make sure you have the following:
1. The proper cage. A store bought cage is not acceptable. You need either a midwest or a C&C cage.
2. A basic understanding of their care. They are not easy “starter pets”
3. An exotic veterinarian. Your typical dog/cat vet will not know how to properly treat a guinea pig. They need an exotic vet. Guinea pigs should be seen yearly for a check up just like your dog or cat.
If you are new to guinea pigs and you are not sure what cage, food, vet, etc. That’s okay! I will help you! I will help you get everything you need to bring home your new pet! Even after your baby is home, I am always here to ask ANY questions too!
